Mixing is a procedure following a recording of the material and is an extremely important process that has a major impact on the sound of the final product.
It is the process of working with each of the individual track’s balance, EQ, effects and anything else needed to allow the track to sit with all the others in a song.
With modern mixing we have the ability to re-visit mixes to make changes until you are 100% happy with the final mix.
Requirements of the files for mixing:
WAV or AIFF file
Sample Rate: 44.1kHz 48kHz 88.2kHz 96kHz
Bit Depth: 24 or 16 bit
Hillbilly Hut makes it possible for anyone to access professional musicians using the internet as a means of transferring files. You send your song via the internet or snail mail and we’ll add whatever instruments you require to your song using the best musicians the country has to offer. The completed files are then sent back to you via the internet. The Plus side, It will save you studio time and money, and you get direct access to some of the country’s best musicians without having to leave your home.
Programmed drum and percussion tracks are also available for demos or low budget projects. From this you will get up to 11 individual files of a fully miked drum kit or a stereo file of the whole kit.
Vocal tuning is a big part of modern recording and with today’s technology it is very acceptable to perform pitch and timing correction. We use some of the industries best tools to perform vocal editing manually with no loss in sound quality. It is very important to have an excellent vocal that is in line with today’s market standards.
To do this we will require a mix without the vocal and the vocal track as a separate track.
