Simon Johnson (Central Coast, NSW) is a well-respected and highly sought after Producer/Musician in the Australian Country Music industry. For over 10 years, he has toured Australia and overseas as a bass guitarist for a wide range of high profile artists, including many of Australia’s top Country Music stars. 

Simon is currently a part of Troy Cassar-Daley’s touring band.

As the Director of Hillbilly Hut recording studio, Simon aims to raise the standards of the industry with his fresh, innovative approach – delivering high quality, professional recordings that are second to none.

Simon’s talent and experience, combined with his passion for music, has enabled him to develop a unique-sounding recording studio that offers everything a larger studio does, with the warmth and friendly atmosphere of a smaller studio.
