Biography

Simon Johnson is a well-respected and highly sought after musician in the country music industry. He has been playing bass guitar for a wide range of artists for many years.
After working alongside producers including Rod McCormack (Paul Kelly, Gina Jeffreys, Adam Harvey, Beccy Cole) and Nash Chambers (Kasey Chambers, Troy Cassar-Daley) and engineering for producer Glen Hannah (Felicity Urquhart), Simon began his own recording Studio 'Hillbilly Hut'.
Whilst establishing his name as a producer, Simon has worked with a number of up-and-coming performers who have the talent and potential to be highly successful in the country music industry.
He has also recorded and produced projects for a range of performers including: Beccy Cole, Adam Harvey, Travis Collins, Kirsty Lee Akers, Tori Darke and Buddy Goode. He's been a touring and session musician for a range of performers including: Lee Kernaghan, Gina Jeffreys, Troy Cassar-Daley, Adam Brand, Beccy Cole, Adam Harvey, Tania Kernaghan, Felicity Urquhart and Amber Lawrence.
